It involves teaching dogs specific skills to provide comfort and emotional support to individuals in various settings. The training focuses on ensuring the dog is well behaved, calm and sociable, while also teaching them to respond to specific needs that help improve the emotional well-being of people in need.
Canine Good Citizen
- 1 hour class/week – 4 weeks
- 15-minute evaluation to verify proficiency in Sit, Down, Come, and Out commands
- Certification from AKC upon graduation
June's Crew Therapy
- 1 hour class/week – 4 weeks
- 15-minute evaluation to verify proficiency in Sit, Down, Come, and Out commands
- Includes June’s Crew t-shirt, lanyard, 50 trading cards with dog’s picture and bio, ID card, and first year insurance coverage
